Community Healthcare Worker

General Program Information

Aztec’s Community Healthcare Worker program provides essential training for individuals looking to work in community-based healthcare environments. This course covers the critical skills needed to support patients in settings like home health care, community clinics, and public health organizations. Participants will learn how to provide compassionate care, educate patients, and assist healthcare teams in delivering effective and accessible healthcare services. With a focus on real-world scenarios, this program prepares students to make a meaningful impact in their communities while enhancing their career opportunities in healthcare.

In this program students will complete a total of 3 Units. Although this program is self paced, it is highly recommended that students spend a minimum of 10 hrs per week working on the course. It is also recommended that students use a laptop or desktop computer, If you do not have access to one of these devices we can facilitate access to a computer lab at an adult education facility near you.
