General Program Information

Aztec’s Pharmacy Technician program is recognized by

the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)

and is the national leader in Career and Technical Education

for pharmacy technicians.

The program offers a comprehensive curriculum,
co-developed with community colleges and pharmacists. With
300 hours of content, it equips students to excel in national
certification exams and the workforce. This self-paced,
multimedia training covers actual pharmacy duties, fostering
competence from customer service to aseptic techniques.

Aztec’s web-based instruction and assessment system
employs a step-by-step approach, with scaffolded content and
reporting features. The program is designed for accessibility
and is optimized for multiple modalities, including tablets and
smartphones. This industry-leading offering ensures students
are fully prepared for both certification exams and real-world
pharmacy roles.
